LEE IN CERULEAN
"Art provides a comforting refuge from the gravity and solemnity of reality, presenting a healing avenue for self-expression and imaginative exploration..." - Lee In Cerulean

Jerilee is a Philadelphia-based artist focused on texture, minimalism, and imperfection. Using joint compound, acrylic paint, and unconventional tools, she creates work with organic lines and layered surfaces that feel uneven and unpolished.
She earned her BFA from the Art Institute of Seattle, where she began exploring how texture and form can express emotion without complex imagery. That interest shaped her current style and led to her artistic identity, “Lee in Cerulean.”
Her work has been shown in galleries, showcases, and charitable events across Philadelphia. It continues to gain attention for its calm, tactile quality and focus on what is real and imperfect. Through layered textures and simple forms, her pieces invite viewers to slow down and notice subtle details, holding stillness and movement at once.
