Henrietta Myers in 1913, the artist known as Peter Miller graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) in 1934. In an effort to ensure fair evaluation of her artwork, Henrietta changed her name to Peter, believing her art would be more positively received when attributed to a male creator. Miller’s extraordinary 250-piece collection was found in a barn during COVID, and restored by Princeton University conservator and gallerist Paul Gratz. Since the re-discovery of her work was made in 2020, 50 of her paintings have already sold on the primary and secondary market.
