Morton Contemporary is thrilled to announce the launch of our first community service campaign to raise money to fight gun violence in America. With some 38,000 Americans dying each year from gun violence, it’s a cause we passionately stand behind.
We are hosting a charitable auction with the esteemed Giffords organization - a foundation established by former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords after she nearly died of a gunshot wound - Gabrielle's sole mission today is to end gun violence.

We are auctioning an extraordinary painting created by our friend & gallery artist, Suave Gonzalez, who spent 31 years in prison in connection to a gun violence arrest. His painting features 3 young siblings from a rough Philly neighborhood who all tragically died far too young. The mother of these kids (Cora) is the true hero of this story. Her courage to persevere and never give up hope inspired us to get involved in this campaign.
